The Completion Question
Are you ready for Level 2?
The Decision Criteria
There’s no authority who decides if you’re ready. You decide. But here are honest criteria:
Ready for Level 2 if:
- Most Level 1 practices are integrated (not just tried once)
- You have a sustainable daily routine you’re maintaining
- Your state has genuinely improved since starting
- The basics are handled - you’re not in survival mode
- You want to go deeper, not just move on
Not yet ready if:
- Most practices were tried but not integrated
- No sustainable routine established
- Still in crisis or basic survival
- Moving to Level 2 would be escape from Level 1 work
- Foundation feels shaky
The Middle Ground
Most people are somewhere in between. Some things integrated, some didn’t. Some areas solid, others weak.
The honest question: Is your foundation strong enough to build on?
Level 2 doesn’t replace Level 1. It adds to it. You’ll still do Level 1 practices at Level 2 - they continue. If those practices aren’t established, Level 2 adds more things to a structure that can’t support them.
Better to have a solid Level 1 than a shaky Level 2. There’s no prize for advancing quickly. The only prize is actual transformation.
If You’re Ready
Take a day or two between levels. Don’t rush immediately from one to the next.
Review your routine. Make sure Level 1 practices are integrated and will continue.
Then proceed to Level 2: REVEAL. That level begins the work of seeing your patterns - how you operate, what you avoid, what runs you. The attention and presence you built in Level 1 enables you to see clearly.
If You’re Not Ready
Stay with Level 1. Fill in what’s incomplete. Strengthen what’s weak.
This isn’t failure. This is respecting the process. The levels exist because they build on each other. Skipping ahead creates instability.
Take the time you need. Then move forward on solid ground.
Today’s Practice
Make your decision. Write it down:
“I am / am not ready for Level 2 because _______________”
If ready: Plan your transition. What do you need to do before starting Level 2?
If not ready: Plan your continuation. What specifically will you focus on in the coming weeks?
