Lesson 72 of 96 Reality & Financial

Leak Awareness

Complete the leak identification and integrate the practice.

Today’s Practice

Look at your list of recurring charges.

Answer:

  • Which charges surprised you?
  • Which could you cut and not miss?
  • What ONE thing, if stopped, would make the biggest difference?
  • What’s the total monthly cost of things you don’t really use?

The Power of Seeing

You don’t have to cancel everything today. The seeing itself changes behavior.

Knowing you pay $50/month for something you never use is different from vaguely having that subscription. The clear awareness makes action more natural. Many people find they naturally cancel unused subscriptions after seeing them clearly - not because they have to, but because the awareness makes the waste obvious.

Going Forward

This practice of honest looking applies everywhere:

  • Health situations you’re avoiding
  • Relationships you’re not examining
  • Career situations you don’t want to face
  • Any area where vague dread has replaced clear seeing

The financial practice is training. Apply the same approach wherever avoidance lives.

Unit 7 Complete

You’ve completed Unit 7: Reality & Financial.

What You’ve Learned:

  • The principle of seeing before fixing
  • Avoidance patterns and how they work
  • How to do a Financial Reality Check
  • How to identify financial leaks
  • That seeing alone creates change

What You’ve Built:

  • Clear picture of your actual financial position
  • Awareness of where money goes automatically
  • Practice in honest looking that applies beyond finances

Going Forward: Apply honest looking to other avoided areas. The financial practice trains the capacity; use it everywhere.

Continue maintaining awareness of your finances. Periodic check-ins prevent returning to avoidance.
