Lesson 40 of 96 Sleep

Sleep Log Days 2-4

Continue tracking. Consistency matters more than perfection.

Building the Habit

The Sleep Log is most valuable when it’s complete. Missing days create gaps in data. So make tracking automatic:

  • Keep your tracking system where you’ll see it immediately upon waking
  • Track BEFORE getting out of bed if possible
  • If you forget in the morning, estimate later (imperfect data is better than no data)
  • Don’t skip weekends

What to Watch For

As you track, start noticing:

Actual hours: Are you getting what you think you’re getting?

Consistency: Same bedtime and wake time each day, or variable?

Quality patterns: Any days notably better or worse? What was different?

Trends: Any obvious trends emerging?

Don’t try to draw conclusions yet. Just notice.

Today’s Practice

Record today’s sleep data. Continue through Day 4 of your Sleep Log.

You should now have 4 days of data. Notice any initial patterns but don’t try to change anything yet.
