This Week's Guidance
Aug 31 — Sep 6, 2026
The week after the full moon. Monday and Tuesday carry clarity for action. Thursday is the turning point. The weekend goes deep and quiet — the best sleep you have had in two weeks.
Last week was loud. This week is what comes after.
You might not feel the shift right away. Monday still carries some of last week's brightness — enough to keep you moving, enough to finish what became clear during the full moon. But by Tuesday, the volume starts to drop. Not suddenly. More like the gradual dimming after someone turns off the overhead lights and your eyes adjust.
The first half of the week is for acting on what you saw. Not every revelation needs a response, but the ones that do — the conversation you realized you need to have, the boundary you finally see clearly, the decision you stopped circling — Monday and Tuesday still have enough clarity and momentum to carry you through them. By Wednesday, the window narrows. Not because the clarity disappears, but because your desire to act on it does. The urgency fades. This is natural.
Thursday is the turning point. There is something almost surgical about it — a clean break between the week's two halves. The first half was still processing last week. Thursday onward is its own thing. You will feel it as a downshift in the body — less mental noise, less emotional charge, a steadiness that was not available earlier.
Friday is quieter than any day you have had in two weeks. Use it for something that requires patience rather than force. Detailed work. Careful thinking. The kind of task that rewards showing up slowly.
The weekend goes deep. Not heavy — deep. A quality of stillness that makes it easy to sit with yourself without needing distraction. Sleep will be better than it has been. Your appetite will feel more honest — less reactive, more clear about what it actually wants. By Sunday evening, you will notice something has shifted. Not dramatically. Just a sense that you are starting next week from a different place than you started this one.
The quiet is not empty. It is where things land.
The Evening Release
This is a four-day practice — Thursday through Sunday — timed to the quietest part of the week when your system is naturally winding down. Each evening, sit somewhere comfortable and take five slow breaths.
Not counted, not timed — just slow enough that you notice the exhale is longer than the inhale.
Then ask yourself one question: What am I still carrying that is not mine to carry? Do not overthink it. Write down the first thing that comes to mind. It might be a worry about someone else.
A responsibility you assumed without being asked. An emotion that belongs to a situation that is already over. A standard you are holding yourself to that nobody asked for. Write it down.
One sentence. Then put the pen down. The point is not to solve it. The point is to name it.
Your nervous system has been running at high volume for two weeks, and it accumulated things along the way — other people's tension, ambient stress, the emotional residue of a full moon that made everything louder.
Some of that is yours. Some of it is not. This practice helps you sort. By Sunday evening, read your four sentences together. You will notice a pattern. It will not be subtle.
The things you have been carrying that are not yours share a quality — they feel heavy but not important. They drain without teaching. Seeing the pattern is enough.
You do not need to do anything about it. The seeing itself begins the release. Monday you start the next week lighter.
Day by Day
Mon Aug 31 Waning Gibbous · 88%
Monday still carries last week's brightness. There is enough residual clarity to act on what the full moon showed you — a decision, a conversation, something you finally saw for what it was. The momentum is real but fading. Use it while it is here.
Tue Sep 1 Waning Gibbous · 80%
The volume drops a notch. Tuesday has a freshness underneath the waning — like the first morning after a fever breaks. You are still tired, but something new is available. Good for beginning small, undramatic things. Not launches. Seeds.
Wed Sep 2 Waning Gibbous · 70%
Wednesday is the last day with real momentum this week. After today, the pace changes. If there is anything left from the full moon that needs doing — a message you need to send, a boundary you need to set — do it today. Tomorrow will not feel the same.
Thu Sep 3 Last Quarter · 59%
The half-moon arrives and the week splits cleanly in two. Thursday has a surgical quality — precise, unhurried, slightly detached. Good for cutting away what you do not need. Bad for anything that requires warmth or spontaneity. Let yourself be efficient and unapologetic about it.
Fri Sep 4 Last Quarter · 47%
Friday settles. The sharpness of Thursday softens into something steadier — a patience that was not accessible earlier in the week. Your attention span will surprise you today. Use it for detailed, careful work. The kind of task you keep pushing to tomorrow.
Sat Sep 5 Last Quarter · 36%
Saturday feels like you have been holding your breath and finally stopped. Not dramatic — just an easing. Your body wants simple things: good food, good sleep, unhurried time. Give it what it is asking for.
Sun Sep 6 Waning Crescent · 25%
The quietest day in two weeks. Sunday is genuinely still. Not empty — more like a room after everyone has left and you can finally hear yourself think. Good for sitting with what the last two weeks have shown you. By evening, something will feel reset.

This Week's Seasonal Theme
The monsoon is deep now. Late August heat and humidity have been running for months, and your body is showing it — heavier afternoons, sluggish digestion, a tiredness that sleep does not quite fix. The full moon amplified all of that last week. This week, as the light wanes, the internal pressure starts to ease. Your system wants to rest and clear. Help it. Warm drinks even when the heat tempts you toward cold ones. Lighter meals — not raw salads, but warm, simple food your digestion can actually process. Earlier bedtimes. The season is not going to cooperate with ambition this week, and that is fine. You have been running hard. Coast.
