Overview

Pluto trine North Node in synastry is a 120-degree angle between one partner's natal Pluto and the other partner's North Node. The Pluto person already lives inside the depth, the appetite for the buried thing and the willingness to be altered that the Node person's chart marks as direction not yet taken, and the trine puts all of it within reach without ever presenting a bill.

The arithmetic of the axis decides most of what follows. The lunar nodes sit exactly 180 degrees apart, so a trine to the North Node is a sextile to the South Node by definition.
