Overview

Pluto square Midheaven in synastry puts one person's natal Pluto at ninety degrees to the other's Midheaven, the zodiacal degree crossing the local meridian at the moment of birth. The Pluto person applies pressure to the MC person's career, public reputation, and declared direction, most often by identifying what that direction is costing before the MC person is willing to look at it.

The Midheaven is a calculated point rather than a body. It has no orbit, no rulership, no retrograde cycle.
