This Week's Guidance
Jul 27 — Aug 2, 2026
The full moon peaks Wednesday and everything becomes visible. The week shifts from seeing to hearing, from conviction to receptivity.
This is the brightest week of the month, and you are going to feel it.
Not in an abstract way. In a practical, undeniable, things-are-right-there way. The full moon peaks Wednesday, and the days surrounding it — really, Monday through Friday — have a quality of visibility that makes it difficult to look away from things you have been managing at a distance. A relationship you have been coasting in. A decision you have been postponing. A feeling you have been filing under "later." This week does not have a later. It has now.
Monday and Tuesday come in with conviction. You will feel unusually certain about what you want, and you might be surprised by how little patience you have for ambiguity. This is useful if you need to make a decision or have a direct conversation. It is less useful if you mistake certainty for being right. Know the difference. Say what you mean, but give the other person room to hear it.
Wednesday is the peak, and the peak is quiet. It is not a fireworks kind of full moon — it is a floodlight kind. Everything is just visible. Whatever you have been building, Wednesday shows you what it actually looks like. Whatever you have been avoiding, Wednesday puts it on the table. You do not have to act on any of it. Just look.
Then the week does something interesting: it shifts from seeing to hearing. Thursday and Friday have a quality of receptivity that the first half of the week does not. If Monday was about knowing what you think, Thursday is about finding out what you have been missing. Listen to the people around you — not to respond, but to understand something you have not been catching. A friend, a partner, a child, a colleague is telling you something you are not quite hearing. Thursday is the day it gets through.
Saturday is the recovery day. Your body has been carrying the intensity of the full moon on top of the heaviness of monsoon season, and by Saturday it wants to stop. Let it stop. This is not a productive Saturday. This is a hot bath and a long meal and going to bed when you are tired rather than when you think you should. The dampness in the air is making your muscles hold tension you are not even aware of. Give them permission to release it.
Sunday picks back up with a little fire. Not a lot — just enough to take the week's clarity and start thinking about what to do with it. If the week showed you something you need to change, Sunday is when the first outline of how to change it starts to form.
Look at it directly. Then listen.
The Visibility Practice
This week is about seeing clearly and then learning to listen.
The practice has two parts. Monday through Wednesday, spend five minutes each morning writing down what is most visible to you right now. Not what you think you should be focused on.
What is actually, undeniably in front of you. A problem. A person. A feeling. A pattern. Write it in plain language, as if describing it to someone who has never met you.
Do not explain it or fix it. Just name it. Thursday through Sunday, shift the practice.
Instead of writing in the morning, spend five minutes in the evening writing down one thing you heard today that surprised you. Something someone said that you were not expecting.
Something your own body told you. Something the day itself seemed to be saying that you almost missed. It does not have to be profound.
It just has to be something you genuinely did not see coming. By Sunday, you will have three things you saw clearly and four things you heard unexpectedly. Read them together.
The pattern between what you are seeing and what you are missing is where the real information is.
Day by Day
Mon Jul 27 Waxing Gibbous · 95%
Almost full. Monday starts with a brightness that has been building all weekend. Emotions are close to the surface. You will feel more certain about things than usual — and more likely to say so.
Tue Jul 28 Full Moon · 98%
The light is nearly complete. Tuesday carries forward Monday's conviction but something is beginning to shift — a feeling of approaching a threshold rather than just building.
Wed Jul 29 Full Moon · 100%
The exact peak. Everything that has been building is fully visible now. This is the day when things you have been avoiding become hard to avoid. Not dramatic — just clear.
Thu Jul 30 Full Moon · 99%
Just past full. The quality changes from seeing to hearing. Thursday is a listening day — still bright, but the brightness is receding and what fills the space is a kind of receptivity.
Fri Jul 31 Full Moon · 97%
The light is beginning to release. Friday has spaciousness to it — room to breathe after the intensity of the peak. Good for anything that needs room.
Sat Aug 1 Waning Gibbous · 92%
Officially waning. Saturday is the body's day — the fullness is still there but the nervous system is ready to rest. Let it.
Sun Aug 2 Waning Gibbous · 85%
Releasing further. Sunday has a spark to it — a bit of productive agitation that wants to turn the week's clarity into something actionable before the new week begins.

This Week's Seasonal Theme
Deep monsoon season. The humidity is real and so is its effect on your body — heavier digestion, more fluid retention, a general dampness that slows everything down slightly. A full moon in monsoon season is a specific combination: emotionally heightened and physically sluggish at the same time. This week, prioritize warm foods and drinks over cold, keep meals simple, and resist the urge to push through afternoon fatigue. Your body is working harder than it feels like it should be. That is normal for this time of year.
Where This Comes From
This week's guidance draws from the lunar journey across seven nakshatras, the seasonal transition, and cross-tradition patterns that align with the week's themes.
Season: Varsha (Monsoon). The body is in transition — deep monsoon season.
