Human Design

A modern synthesis system for self-understanding.

40 pages

Human Design is a modern synthesis system created in 1987, weaving together the I Ching, Western astrology, Kabbalah, and the chakra system into a birth-data-based map of how you are built to make decisions and spend your energy. It is not an ancient tradition — and we cover it honestly as what it is: a contemporary framework many people find genuinely useful for self-acceptance, built from pieces of much older systems you can also explore here in their original forms.

Profiles

1/3 Profile (Investigator / Martyr)

The 1/3 profile pairs a conscious Investigator with an unconscious Martyr line.

1/4 Profile (Investigator / Opportunist)

The 1/4 Investigator/Opportunist studies a subject to its foundation, then transmits it through a network of people who already trust them.

2/4 Profile (Hermit / Opportunist)

The 2/4 profile pairs a conscious Hermit line with an unconscious Opportunist line: talent built alone, then drawn out by the people who already know you.

2/5 Profile (Hermit / Heretic)

The 2/5 profile pairs a conscious Hermit with an unconscious Heretic: a private person who keeps getting called out to solve other people's problems.

3/5 Profile (Martyr / Heretic)

The 3/5 pairs a conscious Martyr with an unconscious Heretic: someone who knows their failure record while everyone assumes they have the answer.

3/6 Profile (Martyr / Role Model)

The 3/6 profile pairs a conscious Martyr line with an unconscious Role Model line: trial-and-error youth, a watching phase, then lived authority.

4/1 Profile (Opportunist / Investigator)

The 4/1 Opportunist/Investigator is Human Design's only juxtaposition profile: a conscious network, an unconscious foundation, a life called fixed fate.

4/6 Profile (Opportunist / Role Model)

The 4/6 pairs a conscious Opportunist line with an unconscious Role Model line: a network-built life lived in three distinct phases.

5/1 Profile (Heretic / Investigator)

The 5/1 profile pairs a conscious Heretic with an unconscious Investigator: the fixer everyone projects on, who has quietly done the homework.

5/2 Profile (Heretic / Hermit)

The 5/2 pairs a conscious Heretic with an unconscious Hermit: someone who feels the projection they carry and can't see the solitude that funds it.

6/2 Profile (Role Model / Hermit)

The 6/2 pairs a conscious Role Model line with an unconscious Hermit line: three life phases lived knowingly, over a talent its owner can't see.

6/3 Profile (Role Model / Martyr)

The 6/3 profile runs a conscious sixth line over an unconscious third line: the observer who feels above the mess and keeps landing in it.
