This Week's Guidance

Mar 2 — 8, 2026

Full Moon peaks in Venus-ruled Purva Phalguni on Tuesday. Navigate the week from ancestral Magha through creative Chitra to purposeful Vishakha as the Moon wanes.

This is a week of culmination. The Moon reaches full light on Tuesday in Purva Phalguni, the star of creative joy and pleasure ruled by Venus. What has been building since the new moon arrives at its brightest expression — this is the time to see clearly what you have created, consciously or not.

Monday opens in Magha, the royal nakshatra ruled by the Pitris, the ancestral spirits. Full Moon in Magha illuminates what has been handed down — patterns, strengths, burdens. Notice what rises under this near-full light. By Tuesday, as the Moon shifts into Venus-ruled Purva Phalguni at peak illumination, the energy softens into something more sensual and celebratory. This is not a day to push hard; it is a day to receive what the fullness offers.

Midweek, the Moon enters Krishna Paksha — the waning phase — and begins its journey through Fire nakshatras. Wednesday and Thursday move through Uttara Phalguni and Hasta, bringing a shift from emotional intensity toward practical application. Hasta, ruled by the Moon herself and associated with skilled hands, is ideal for making, healing, and craftsmanship. Whatever the Full Moon revealed, Thursday asks: what will you do with this knowledge?

Friday and Saturday carry the Moon through Chitra and Swati — one ruled by Mars, the other by Rahu. Chitra brings creative vision; Swati brings independence and flexibility. The waning light supports release work, shedding what you no longer need to carry. By Sunday in Vishakha, Jupiter’s star of determination, you can feel the week’s arc complete: from ancestral illumination, through Venusian fullness, to purposeful release.

Late winter Kapha meets powerful lunar light. Balance the moon’s pull toward emotion with warming, grounding practices. Let the Full Moon illuminate; let the waning phase release.

I receive the fullness of this moment — what it reveals, what it offers, what it asks me to release.

This Week's Practice

Full Moon Meditation

On Tuesday evening, find a place where you can sit with moonlight — by a window, outdoors, or simply facing the direction of the rising moon. Close your eyes and breathe slowly.

Visualize the moon’s silver light entering through your crown, filling your body, illuminating every corner of your inner landscape.

Ask: what is being revealed? Sit with whatever arises without judgment. After 10-15 minutes, bow internally to what you have seen and commit to one small action of release before the next new moon.
