Unit 9

Crisis Protocols

Lessons 75-80

Emergency procedures exist for a reason.

Lessons

Lesson 75

What Crisis Is

Crisis comes in two forms: acute moments of overwhelming distress and extended periods where normal functioning isn't possible. Each needs different protocols.

Lesson 76

The Emergency Grounding Sequence

STOP - LOOK - TOUCH - BREATHE - WAIT - BASICS. Six steps designed to bring you back to present reality when you've lost connection with it.

Lesson 77

Emergency Sequence Practice

Practice the Emergency Grounding Sequence again for reinforcement. The more you practice when calm, the more available it becomes when you're not.

Lesson 78

Understanding Extended Crisis

Sometimes crisis extends beyond acute moments. When normal isn't possible for days or weeks, you need different expectations - a floor, not a standard.

Lesson 79

The Crisis Minimum Protocol

When you can't do normal, maintain these four things: eat something, Attention Process when foggy, fixed sleep time, one human contact. Everything else can wait.

Lesson 80

Crisis Protocol Integration

Know when to use each protocol and how to return from crisis. The Emergency Grounding Sequence for acute moments. The Crisis Minimum for extended periods.
